Bridges
If you have one or more missing teeth it may be possible to close the gap in your smile using a dental bridge. Although there are several types of bridge, a traditional bridge is most commonly used when you have healthy natural teeth on both sides of your missing tooth. A traditional bridge consists of a false tooth (pontic) held in place by dental crowns that have been cemented onto the abutment teeth on each side of the missing tooth. A bridge can be made from a variety of materials, but they are most often made from porcelain to blend in with your natural teeth.
Bridges are prescribed for missing teeth.
The adjacent teeth are prepared by eliminating tooth structure.
After fabrication the bridge is cemented to the prepared teeth.
Bridges restore the natural beauty and health of teeth.
